I have a confidential voicemail system and clients may leave a message at any time. I will make every effort to return calls within 24 hours (or by the next business day), but cannot guarantee the calls will be returned immediately. I am unable to provide 24-hour crisis service. In the event that a client is feeling unsafe or requires immediate medical or psychiatric assistance, he/she should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
The client is responsible for payment of the agreed upon fee for any missed session(s) "no-show" or any session(s) in which the client failed to give the therapist less than 24 hours notice. I would prefer to not charge for missed sessions and will do my best to reschedule, however this is not always a possibility. All cancellation notices must be left for the therapist via voicemail or text at (631) 213-1119 or via email at email@example.com.
I do not participate with insurance at this time. If the client wishes to use his/her insurance, I will provide the client with a receipt of payment for services in which the client can submit to the third-party of his/her choice to seek reimbursement of fees already paid. It is recommended that the client check with their insurance company to determine how much they will be reimbursed should the client choose to work with the therapist. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers.
